About the Dispatch Center

SLC911 is a telecommunications center where 911 and non emergency calls are answered, processed, prioritized and the appropriate police/fire/medical resources are dispatched to respond.

We were the 6th tri-accredited center of excellence in the world. This means that we send the most appropriate response to the citizens of Sandy City and Salt Lake City correctly at least 95 percent of the time on all calls handled by our center. SLC911 is the only tri-accredited center in the State of Utah.
